This is Hayden waiting for her guests to arrive for our Mommy Daughter Book Club. We hosted it at our home. We read a book that is near and dear to my heart. It was the first book I ever owned. My grandmother gave it to me. It marked the beginning of the passion that I now have for books. I only owned a couple of books of my own as a child ....The Secret Garden and The Adventures of Raggedy Ann. We read about Raggedy Ann for this month. The girls seemed to enjoy it as much as I did as a little girl. It was so wonderful to share this imaginary story with them. I love to read...I love to read with Hayden even more. She too is gaining an appreciation of escaping to new worlds and adventures through literary means. I am so grateful for that.
We had a tea Party...just like Raggedy Ann and the other dolls in the Nursery had in our story. It was so sweet to hear these young girls chatting and laughing...just like I do with my wonderful friends in my book club. How truly magical it is to be brought together....in friendship by stories and a love of reading.

We are so glad that football is over and that we have Sam home more. It was getting really old to say goodbye to him at 6am only to not see his mug until well after 7pm at night. I miss having him here. It's wierd...he spends most of his time on the phone, in his room and texting ...but I know he is here..we pass eachother in the hallway and he makes us laugh. We are glad to have him home more. Now If I could just get him to do a few more chores!!!
It doesn't look like Hayden is too happy here but she is!! She's gettin ready for our trip to Disneyland!! Her and I have matching hats like this one and matching disney Jewlery!! We can't wait to play!!
Rick has been working so much lately. Trying to make extra cash for our Disneyland trip in...."How many days Rick?" .....in 18 days!! (woohoos all around from the family) We love Disneyland but we are really missing dad being around lately. So...we go visit him when we get a chance. Such was the case this night when we took this picture. He looks pretty hot huh?? We are proud of what Rick does. He sees the things none of us care to know happen while we are nestled in our beds. We love you Dad!! Can't wait to Play at the Greatest Place On Earth!!

Welcome to Allen Town.  It's often a boring place to be...occasionally a lazy place...And often it's a really fun place to be.  Rick is the Mayor, I am the consolate, Sam is the court Jester and Hayden is the peace maker.  Anyway...welcome.  We hope you enjoy your stay.
